Summer mornings in the Mongolian countryside are usually serene, a world away from the bustle of Singapore’s frenetic peak hour rush. Livestock are released to graze in flower-strewn pastures, and even the herder, with his never-ending list of chores, can take a breather as he watches his herds feed in peace and safety. During his time in Singapore, the artist stayed in a place overlooking an MRT station; the crowds hurrying off to work each day reminded him of the need to start each day with the right mindset, communing with the Source of peace.
