Meet Wendy Tsang.
Originally hailing from Hong Kong, Wendy trained in the Western fine arts in Brooklyn, New York City at the age of 23.
Having been exposed to the artistic principles of East and West, Wendy began to develop a unique artistic style that blends and pays homage to her Eastern roots while embracing the self-expression of Western art.
Wendy’s critically acclaimed artworks have been displayed in Barcelona and Hong Kong, as well as in exhibitions at Pan Pacific Singapore and Fraser Residence River Promenade.
Instruments of Expression.
Till today, Wendy has kept her father's brushes and uses them to paint. They are at least 30 years old but kept with the utmost care. A flexible tool deeply yielding by nature, the brush acts as an extension of her inner reality.
Like her father, Wendy loves to explore the use of other art tools, such as fabrics, sponges and the palette knife. Every stroke is made with the entirety of her body, mind and soul.
