Artist Profile

Jacintha Pillay has enjoyed drawing and being creative since young. She pursued a conventional career as lawyer and still practices today, but in 2013, she started painting completely by chance. Being self-taught, her works evolved over the process of experimentation and exploration. She has come to embrace her God-given passion for painting, with the simple desire to honor this gift for His purposes. Jacintha paints from her happy place, drawing inspiration from the day-to-day wonders - whether it is by a bible verse that speaks to her, an event or music. Jacintha recently held her first successful solo exhibition.
