Heaven bestows the crown of glory, they cast Him thorns of agony.
His body blazes a million stars, with lashes they whipped to scars.
Behold the King of Kings.
Hands that knit their inmost being, pierced by delicate fingers He weaved.
Voices he tuned for melodies to praise, hissed with vile contempt to raise.
Behold the King of Kings.
God who’s exalted above the earth, trampled devoid of human worth.
Sought not legions to scorch the earth, to cosmic scandal, grace.
Father forgive them.
Behold the King of Kings.
In a difficult year, we remember our need for a Saviour. It is timely that in this Christmas season, amidst all our troubles, we celebrate His birth and the sacred moment when Christ self-sacrificially laid His life down to be crucified on the cross.
Luke 23:34 “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”
Every intricate etching of this painstakingly hand-cut vinyl print is reminiscent of the many wounds Christ endured.
40% of sale proceeds will go towards UNICEF's relief work to help those affected by the August 2020 explosions in Beirut, Lebanon
