One Point Perspective - Commandments and Salvation
STEPHEN CHAN

The painting series depicts architectural space like man-made cathedral, but such space is also full of God created life - wheat, branches, crops of all sorts. This is a structure in which we see God and man work together - we call that Church.
In architectural space we encounter a visual phenomena called “one point perspective”, in which parallel lines never physically cross but would eventually meet in a single vanishing point. Just like Christians even though not knowing each other, would still have unity as they follow Jesus. In such path of unity, believers would meet the Ark of Commandments and the Cross of Salvation.
