All is quiet except for the beating of her heart. In deep, pensive contemplation, she embraces the freedom to reflect, to question and to just be. Only in moments of quiet reflection do we have the chance to enjoy beauty and joy in our surroundings, which often elude us in our hurried lives. Using only palette knives, artist Erica Wee employs bold and expressive brush strokes in bright colours. The amazing energy created by these daring and deliberate brush strokes is certainly the highlight, conveying intent, confidence and interest. Each and every brush stroke carries confidence and energy that is reflected in the portait.
