This piece speaks of the innocence, carefree spirit, wide-eyed wonder and faith of a child,
who delights in a Father for whom nothing is impossible,
who delights in the sweetness of His Presence,
where all world-weariness falls off, where cynicism finds no place,
where there is only Abba Father! and Yes and Amen! to all His promises over us, who revels in the delightfully sweet and life-giving morsels He deposits in our heart,
as we abide, as we listen for His voice and feed on His goodness and on His Word.
I have an especial gift for being childlike in faith, so in walking with God, over time,
He has taught me explore painting and every creative endeavor as an exercise of "play" with the Father.
Not as a task to be completed or to frame it as work, but as restful play and and an overflow of enjoying His Presence.
Not that I manage it perfectly each time, but He is gracious and allows us to fail-forward.
What joy parents have when they spend time, play and banter with their children, likewise our Heavenly Father loves the connection of one-on-one quality and play time with each of us!
With that in mind, this was created to impart childlike faith to everyone, so that they can experience the Father's heart and love the way He has revealed Himself to me and even more so!
